Physician Supervised

Joni Roney is a fully certified Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner under the direct supervision of Aldo B. Guerra, MD, FACS a Board Certified plastic surgeon by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons. Joni performs BOTOX^® injections and dermal filler injections at the AB Guerra Plastic Surgery Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. Joni trained directly from Allergan, Inc. the makers of BOTOX^® Cosmetic to inject patients safely with over 5 years of experience. In addition, Joni has received training on dermal filler injections from the top companies in the US including Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation, Allergan, Inc. and Bioform Medical. Joni follows all the appropriate steps in perfoming informed consent about the risks and benefits of the injection procedure and documentation is also completed. Joni provides regular injections throughout the year and has treated thousands of patients. Patients have the option of being treated by Dr. Guerra if requested.

Joni Roney only injects products that are FDA approved and purchased directly from the respective companies. These products include BOTOX^® Cosmetic, Juvéderm™ Ultra and Juvéderm™ Ultra Plus (Purchased directly through Allergan, Inc.), Restylane^® and Perlane^® (purchased directly from Medicis Aesthetics, Inc.), Radiesse^® (purchased directly from BioForm Medical, Inc.), NIA24^® (purchased directly from Niadyne, Inc.) and Obagi^® products (purchased directly from Obagi Medical Products, Inc.).

Safety

Joni Roney and the rest of the staff at the AB Guerra Plastic Surgery Center believe in patient safety as our number one priority. There will be an examination prior to offering any services. Our office will provide instructions for before and after injectable treatment.
